Corporate tax senior manager or manager advisory focus Poole Dorset ACA CTA ATT

Your new firm
You will be working for one of the area's leading corporate tax teams with big plans for growth.

Your new role
As a Senior Manager within the Poole office your role will be exclusively advisory focused.
You will work closely with the team to deliver a high quality corporate tax service to entrepreneurial businesses and your primary focus will be to project manage complex advisory projects, whilst also managing existing client relationships and actively pursuing new business development opportunities, thus helping to generate work
from new clients.
You will be provided with a small portfolio of clients and expected to assist the team in actively pursuing new relationships with directors and shareholders of owner managed and family businesses. Typically, you will be advising entrepreneurial and owner managed businesses on a whole range of issues, including (but not exclusively) group reorganisations/demergers, incorporations, succession planning, and the tax efficient structuring of commercial transactions.
You will also be part of a team supporting with due diligence projects.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have a strong technical knowledge of all taxes in respect of corporate tax advisory work along with strong client handling skills and the ability to develop good relationships with clients and other professionals.
You will need to be able to delegate efficiently, review work and have the ability to encourage and foster development of the more junior members of the team, as well as being able to work collaboratively with the senior management team in the continued growth of the business, and have a strong network of intermediaries.
You will have an entrepreneurial business tax focus, with experience in advisory transactions such as group reorganisations, demergers, incorporations, succession planning and commercial transactions.
You will also have excellent communication skills (both oral and written), be adaptable and organised with a commercial approach and an ability and/or willingness to research complex technical issues.
