Your new role

In addition to working in the Tax Department and reporting to Managers/Directors/Partners with tax planning and compliance work on selected clients, you will become responsible for managing your own client portfolio and offering input into those of Consultants below you. You will manage the Corporate Tax team and develop a strategic focus for its output, as well as developing staff by offering advice and guidance, particularly to Consultants operating below you. Looking beyond the office, you will also engage in B.D. activity, at all times providing the impeccable, reasoned and professional service our clients expect.

What you'll need to succeed

You will possess the CTA, ACCA or equivalent qualification, ideally coupled with direct experience of working within professional services, with a significant track record of working within a practice environment. In addition to the essential Corporate Tax exposure, VAT compliance and R&D experience are desirable. Excellent written and verbal skills, along with an attention to detail, will compliment your teamwork abilities and solid timekeeping. Predominantly Corporate Tax in nature, you will be commercially aware and focused on delivering client service. As such, the role will require disciplined self-management and competency in lone-working and teamwork.
