A reputable 5 director firm in Manchester city centre, seeking an experience personal tax semi-senior to join their well established tax department. A supportive firm with friendly laid back culture.

Your new role
As a personal tax semi senior, you will manage a varied portfolio of personal tax clients ranging from HNWI's, sole-traders, partners and directors, pensioners and trustees. You will be responsible for the preparation of a self-assessment tax returns in addition to tax planning with increasing competency. Typical matters you will advise your clients on include, income tax matters, capital gains, inheritance tax, trusts and estates, retirement strategies and non-domiciliary tax issues.

What you'll need to succeed
For this role, you will be a confident portfolio manager of personal tax clients and fully attuned to the tax compliance process. Ideally, you will have experience in supporting managers and partners on tax planning work on matters listed above and will be a confident communication in order to establish and maintain client relationships. The successful candidate will ideally be ATT qualified or close to qualifying.

In return, you will receive a competitive salary of between £22,000-£28,000 dependent on experience and 23 days annual leave including bank holidays.
