Manage global tax accounting projects from the in-house corporate tax team of a newly listed Energy Company.

Headquartered in London, this is a fast moving energy business with a diverse portfolio across both traditional thermal and renewable assets. After a series of landmark acquisitions in Europe, Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa they now own & operate around 70 power generation plants in over 18 countries. They employ 1,500 people and posted $1bn in reported revenues in 2017.

This role will be situated in the Vienna operational headquarters reporting to the Director of Tax Accounting and Compliance. This is a complex multinational business that has grown significantly in a short period of time. As such, this role has two key areas of focus:

1 Provide tax accounting support to the leadership team in the financial restructuring process.
2 Assist in managing and improving the quarterly income tax provision process & deferred tax calculations for 250 global entities
3 Manage in conjunction with the Director the tax accounting aspects of current and future IFRS accounting changes

Who are you?

* You've been working in tax for 5+ years in a multinational corporation and/or Big 4 environment;
* Experienced providing European tax reporting support for complex listed-sized businesses;
* Qualified in tax or accounting, tax advisor examination or equivalent;
* Fluent in English
