Your new company
This firm is a leading independent firm of chartered accountants, chartered tax advisers and financial advisers providing a wide range of compliance and advisory services to successful OMB's, entrepreneurs and private clients across the Midlands, down to London and everywhere in between. Their "sweet spot" is privately owned businesses in the £2m - £50m turnover range.
They undertake all tax compliance work and provide innovative tax planning advice to clients and have a breadth of experience in many sectors and in all types of business structures.
Your new role
The highly successful tax practice is looking to expand further by recruiting an experienced corporate tax manager/senior manager to do a pure advisory role. Technical advice will include restructuring, R&D, share capital payment, profit extraction, group reorganisations, revenue enquiries, M&A (£1-20m transactions), capital allowances, share scheme work and valuation work.
What you'll need to succeed
You need to be personable with a natural flair for managing client relationships and open to advising across a wide range of issues. You also need to be prepared to learn and pick up new areas of tax when necessary.
What you'll get in return
This is a modern, entrepreneurial firm who have a great social scene and a relaxed atmosphere. They offer flexible working (and part-time hours if required), modern offices encompassing table tennis, pool and TV to be used at any time during the day to enable staff to take a break from their desks. The firm has doubled in size in the last 4 years and is looking to continue this growth, so there is lots of opportunity for promotion all the way through to partner.
