Tax Assistant

An well-established, reputable accountancy firm, my client, is looking for a Tax-Assistant in London

Your new company

Our client is a successful, longstanding accountancy firm based south of the river in south-east London.

Your new role

You will join a dynamic tax department on a full-time, Monday-Friday 9-5, basis.

The team predominantly works on personal tax, dealing with compliance on a portfolio of clients ranging from sub-contractors, Directors and high-net worth individuals. You may also have the opportunity to work on corporate and trust taxation.

What you'll need to succeed

Our client is looking for someone with at least 2 years of personal tax experience, gained in a practice environment, who is capable of preparing personal tax returns using commercial software.

The right person will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C, including at least a grade B in both English and Maths.

Ideally you will be ATT qualified, preferably with experience of using CCH Personal Tax, although on the job training will be given to the right person.

What you'll get in return

A salary of up to £30,000 per year alongside an excellent CTA study package.
