Tax Director

Tax Director with an independent firm in West Yorkshire. Excellent starting salary & future equity opportunity.

Your new company
I am working in partnership with a leading local accountancy practice to recruit a Tax Director to lead the tax department of the firm.

Your new role
Leading a team of 6, you will be responsible for the oversight of compliance and advisory services, alongside more complex restructuring work. You will also be expected to identify further tax planning opportunities for the client base. As the figurehead of the tax department, you will also assume control of the marketing of the department, developing new business and growing the firms network.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be CTA qualified with a minimum 2 years post qualification experience and have a broad tax knowledge in relation to income and corporate tax matters. It is also essential that you are commercially astute and have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in order to lead the department effectively. This is a fantastic opportunity for an existing Manger or Senior Manager to take on more responsibility and further their career.
