The firm has traditionally been a very strong M&A practice and is investing heavily in developing a full-service tax business leveraging from its excellent portfolio of clients. The group has no audit service line, as such the tax teams’ benefit from winning new work unimpeded by audit restrictions or internal politics. Their clients span from owner managed businesses to foreign-owned and listed groups.
The Senior Director leading the team has an excellent reputation in the market, especially within the TMT, FS, Retail and Manufacturing sectors, leaving Deloitte as their highest biller in R&D tax. As this is a greenfield opportunity, your portfolio would be shaped to suit your skills and interests. They are planning to hire three people this year and many more in 2020, aiming to establish a team of 20 people in the next five years.
