Description

Joining a growing office and Exeter based team, as Corporate Tax Manager, you will undertake a mixed role across corporate tax advisory and compliance, becoming increasingly weighted on focusing on the delivery of advisory and planning projects, as you develop relationships with clients and add value on this side.
Initially you may have a split between advisory and compliance responsibilities, working closely with a wide range of UK based OMBs, wide ranging in sector and turnover . Typical advisory projects will revolve around areas such as R&D claims, EMI schemes, EIS, assisting with transactions, reconstructions & reorganisations, as a few non exhaustive examples. You will research legislative changes and the impact on the firms client base, meeting with partners to discuss impacts and draft reports, newsletters etc and develop long term relationships with your clients. You will oversee the compliance and develop the team and look to grow the tax department. The partners are seeking a career focused corporate tax professional looking to develop their career and therefore genuine prospects for progression are on offer.

Profile

You will be either ACA, ACCA, CA and/or CTA qualified, with anything from one to several years post qualified experience, or more ideally, with a strong background in corporate tax, ideally with both compliance and advisory skills and experience to date, ideally operating at Managerial level, within an accountancy practice environment..
You will be looking to progress and develop your corporate tax career in a challenging role, within a leading firm of chartered accountants.

Job Offer

£40,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience background and level, negotiable, plus benefits
