This is a rapidly growing IT / technology business with a reputable finance team. They currently do not have a specific tax function so this is a brand new role for a competent Part Time In-House Tax Manager.

Description

As this Part Time In-House Tax Manager role is newly formed, there will be some discussion about what the successful candidate can bring to the table.

It is likely to encompass a variety of areas and taxes including:

* Oversight for group corporate tax matters

* Support with front office

* Provision of advice to the business on group tax matters

* Oversight of VAT returns

* Employee tax issues and share schemes

* Assistance with ad-hoc projects/one off pieces of tax work

* Acquisitions, disposals and other reorganisations

Profile

The successful candidate will likely be CTA or ACA qualified and ideally have experience working in an in-house tax role before.

As the role is newly formed, you must be able to demonstrate the benefits you can bring to the business and key achievements in previous roles at interview.

This could also potentially suit an experienced individual from practice looking to make their first move in to industry.

Job Offer

A competitive salary will be available depending on the calibre of the individual applying.

Realistically this is likely to offer £50,000 - £70,000 depending on experience.

Ideally this person will work 2 or 3 days a week.
