Tax Manager - Indirect Tax

Tax Manager working for a FTSE PLC in Essex. Exposure to international tax, projects and advisory.

Our client is a FTSE PLC that specialise in providing bespoke product solutions to multinational customers across the globe. A truly global business with operations in over 100 countries across the world.

In this newly created role, you will advise on indirect taxes for the UK business. Reporting directly to the Regional Head of Tax. Your main focus will be to support the Tax team in delivering a broad range of responsibilities including; indirect taxes, withholding taxes, employment taxes and research and development claims. Duties will include:

* Advise on indirect taxes, withholding taxes and employment taxes
* Providing tax technical advice
* Review of global operational taxes and identify, manage and implement tax opportunities for the business
* Assist with global review of AP and AR
* Identify global tax risks and opportunities
* Work on ad hoc projects e.g. Brexit planning/implementation and making tax digital and ensure that all tax implications are handled correctly.

The role would suit a candidate that has strong business partnering skills and excellent commercial awareness. Candidates must be CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified with proven indirect tax experience. Preference would be for someone with experience of managing and implementing projects however this is not essential.
