A prosperous Top 40 accountancy firm with offices across London and the surrounding regions is looking for a motivated Private Client Manager to oversee a growing team in their St.Albans office. The firm lays claim to over a century of providing quality service to their clients, and house a Private Client franchise that punches above the weight of the firm. Drawing on the collective wisdom of many Partners formerly of the Top 10 and Big 4, the road-map for the future is ambitious, and you will be invested in from day one to achieve your potential.

Your new role
You will be in charge of providing the high standards of service expected by the firm's clientele. You will therefore relate to clients on a personal and professional level while displaying competency on key issues such as personal tax reliefs. The role will also require the supervision of compliance work and the preparation of returns, while managing junior staff. Perhaps most importantly, you should be able to simplify complex tax issues such as over Inheritance Tax issues.

What you'll need to succeed
You will possess exceptional technical knowledge surrounding the pertinent issues of Private Client tax, and preferably (but not essentially) have knowledge of Trust-related issues and have obtained the STEP qualification. Of equal importance will be your ability to deliver results through interpersonal relationship building and client managerial acumen. Most importantly, you will possess the CTA or equivalent qualification.
