Corporate Tax Manager Job, Reputable Independent CA Firm, Edinburgh, £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience

Hays is proud to be partnered with a long-standing and reputable, independent firm of Chartered Accountants in order to recruit for a Corporate Tax Manager or Assistant Manager. Multi-award winning with over 100 staff and various service lines, the firm offers its employees diverse client portfolios and a great working culture. Clients include SMEs across property, creative, technology, agriculture and public/third sector to name but a few industries. Due to recent growth across Scotland, the firm would like to make an addition to their Corporate Tax Team in Edinburgh.
Your new role
You will oversee a portfolio of clients to in accordance with budget and deadlines, whilst managing an established team, coaching and developing more junior members of staff. You will deliver technical tax advice on specialist advisory projects, and support the Partner Group building strong clients relationships. You will review corporate tax compliance, including computations and returns, and manage the billing of clients.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a proven track record within a Chartered Accountancy Firm with particular knowledge and experience within tax. You will exhibit technical competence across corporation tax, across both compliance and advisory, with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You will be a team player, motivated, and ideally CTA qualified. You will demonstrate commercial acumen and the ability to lead or supervise members of staff, inclusive of reviewing.
