Corporate Tax Accountant job working for an international FTSE business based in Brentwood, Essex

Our client is a well-known and highly reputable FTSE 100 organisation with operations across the globe. Due to internal reporting developments, Hays is assisting the business to recruit a Corporate Tax Accountant to join the business. This role is open to both Part Time and Full Time applications.

Your new role
Reporting into the Group Tax Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the daily completion of Group Corporate Tax compliance and accounting activities. You will collate and provide the necessary data for Group VAT returns, and prepare and review the computations and submissions. You will ensure the timely payment of all Tax liabilities when required and assist in Tax reporting and VAT balance sheet reconciliations.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal applicant will be a qualified Accountant or Tax Adviser (e.g. ACA, ACCA or CTA) with a strong knowledge of Corporate Tax compliance and operations. Those without the qualification, but with a proven track record within Corporate Tax, will be considered. You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to allow you to efficiently liaise with various business areas and external advisers. You will also be highly organised with strong attention to detail, whilst managing various deadlines.

What you'll get in return
Working hours are between 30 - 37.5 hours per week, you will receive a generous salary and 25 days salary, pension and other benefits.
