• Big Four firm with a well-integrated Indirect tax service line in post implementation, high-value, sector specific build mode.
• The team have been recognised as having one of the largest and most impressive Indirect tax teams across the Middle East.
Role brief
• Lead the entire Financial Services offering within Indirect Tax for the Saudi Arabian and Bahraini jurisdictions with heavy cross-over into regional projects so as part of a virtual FS offering.
• Be a part of the ‘education, upskilling’ for FS VAT in the Middle East – engage with the tax authorities, decision makers, policy makers and provide a seasoned FS background to complex indirect tax issues in the Middle East.
About you
• You must currently be in a ‘Financial Services VAT or GST role’ in either Advisory or at a very senior level within a Bank, PE House, Insurer, Capital markets or Commodities / FS platform.
• Your level would be at either the Senior Manager or Director level – the latter level there would be an expectation that you have a long list of contacts and would be reasonably confident of bringing a book of business across with you to this Big Four firm.
• Focused on building a team, capitalising on the existing and coming growth within the FS sector as the initial reforms require more complex detail, client reorganisations become necessary for global FS clients.
• You will 100% need to be in a pure indirect tax role covering a 90% - 100% sector. Niche role but huge opportunity.
