Synopsis
• Rare Private Client Law firm role (non-lawyer, Accountant and / or Tax qualified)
• Attracted to advising in one of the world’s most instantly recognisable Private client / Wealth law firms?
• This role has a bias to advisory/consulting with very little compliance.
About our client
• Preeminent global law firm with a Private Client / Wealth department at the heart, epicentre of the firm.
• UK headquartered firm but with a clear international dimension to their client base who have interests in Asia, LATAM, North America, Europe and the Middle East.
• Lawyers and Accountants who are Spears, International Tax listed, Tier 1 ranking.
Role brief
• Advising UK and international HNWI’s, Trusts and OMB’s, Family Offices and closely held companies on the range of tax issues relating to residency and domiciliary.
• Mostly UK inbound issues but with wealth spread in several continent’s you will be comfortable with a working, high-level knowledge of the tax issues involving other jurisdictions.
• Managing a portfolio of clients with AUM’s, HNW of £5 - £259 million. Mainly advisory, some compliance.
• The team is large enough that you can aspire to move through to Partner level, take ownership of a particular sector or become a technical expert in an area of non-dom taxation.
About you
• Some, preferably a good amount of ‘international’ private client knowledge.
• You will be either ACA, ICAS, ATT or CTA qualified or a combination of.
• You will have somewhere between 4- and 10-years’ experience.
• Levels considered would be top-end Assistant Manager, Manager or junior Senior Manager bearing in mind Law firms don’t have 101 levels / grades like the Accounting sector!
• MUST have current UK experience (* returning from maternity leave is also acceptable, considered).
