Your new company
My client, a very well renowned and successful large mid-tier firm are in the excellent position due to growth to offer an exciting opportunity to an ambitious individual. The firm are known for service excellence and an impressive client portfolio across Audit, Tax, Forensics and Corporate Finance.

Your new role
First and foremost this role is an Advisory specialist position, suited to Tax professionals who would like to leave compliance work behind and specialise in a mixed Advisory role. Working in a very high calibre Tax team you will work closely with an impressive and diverse client portfolio (Primarily NI based businesses) across both Personal and Corporate Tax. You will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to Tax work around Mergers & Acquisitions, Business Recovery and Forensics for example around litigation cases. An excellent varied role to really take your experience portfolio to the next level without having to churn through compliance work.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be an experienced Tax professional, either a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) and / or a Chartered Tax Advisor. My client is hoping to have conversations with quality candidates from various walks of life. They are keen to talk to both Big 4 / Top 6 candidates from a specialist background of individuals with mixed Tax experience from smaller Practice backgrounds. The desire to specialise in a Tax Advisory position is key here.

What you'll get in return
My client pay very well and offer useful benefits as well. They have a common sense approach when it comes to working hours and ensuring that their staff can enjoy a healthy work-life balance. For me personally on this role the big selling point is the Advisory nature of the role and the close working relationship you can have with exceptional Tax professionals in the team. Progression is accelerated due to the growth of the firm and the client base is top class.
