Mixed/ Corporate Tax Manager

Independent practice based in Liverpool seeking Mixed/Corporate Tax Manager | Up to £45k

Independent practice based just on the outskirts of Liverpool city centre, specialising in offering accounts, audit, taxation and business advisory services. This firm is currently seeking a mixed tax manager with a corporate tax bias or straight up corporate tax professional.

Your new role
As a corporate/ mixed tax manager, you will be responsible for your own portfolio of clients, predominantly responsible for offering advisory services as well as reviewing tax returns prepared for by the accounts team. Your will be responsible for assisting more junior members of the tax team as well delegating work and reviewing returns and reports. Typical advisory matters will include investigations work, R&D, capital gains, share schemes and VAT to name a few.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this role you will have previous experience in managing your own portfolio of corporate tax clients and ideally, personal tax in addition. You will be competent in reviewing corporate tax returns and have an up to date and in depth knowledge of tax legislation to offer tax advice and write reports. Candidates will either be QBE with demonstrable CT knowledge and ideally people management experience, or CTA and time qualified.
