Corporate Tax Manager Job, Top 10 CA Firm, Edinburgh or Glasgow, £40,000 - £55,000 + benefits

Given consistent growth, the firm is looking to increase its Corporate Tax Team by recruiting a Manager to be based in either Edinburgh or Glasgow, depending on the successful applicant's preference.
Your new role
Joining a Corporate Tax Team which operates across multiple Scottish offices, you will support the Partners in servicing corporate clients, direct Tax services and people management. With a client base which is largely privately owned companies and groups, you will manage a portfolio, taking responsibility for the delivery of all projects in relation to these clients as well as reviewing and work delegation and monitoring. This will involve responding promptly to requests, providing regular updates and controlling billing. You will have frequent involvement in tax planning and complex issues, and identify risk and business development opportunities. Responsible for more junior members of staff, you will appraise, motivate and develop tax professionals, while ensuring deadlines are met.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will have several years and a proven track record at Assistant Manager or Manager level within a Corporate Tax advisory capacity at a reputable Chartered Accountancy firm. You will be CTA and/or ACA qualified (or equivalent) with in depth Tax knowledge and the ability to deal with complex issues. You will have client, project and staff management experience, and have successfully demonstrated yourself in respect developing new clients and business.
