Transfer Pricing Manager/ Senior Manager, Reading

Wilkinson Partners are working with a Big Four firm who are looking for a skilled Transfer Pricing Manager/Senior Manager in their Reading office. The Transfer Pricing team in this firm is highly dynamic and a very successful area of the tax business. Although, Transfer Pricing practice is broad, encompassing a wide range of client propositions, this role will mainly focus on the Thames Valley market.

The Transfer Pricing team in Reading advises multinational clients to develop and implement economically supportable transfer pricing, document policies and outcomes and respond to tax authority challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

o Be market facing with allocated clients and target organisation
o Lead by example with client relationships, technical quality and service delivery
o Actively promote team and personal profile to internal networks to promote collaboration and increase internal leads
o Project managing large, multi-disciplinary projects across multiple jurisdictions
o Managing preparations of detailed technical analysis covering a wide range of UK and international tax issues
o Keeping abreast of changes in UK law and practice in these areas; and law and practice for key trading partner countries of the UK
o Coordinate with other teams from the firm, including, but not limited to, international tax and indirect tax, on a range of topics

The right candidate will have the following skills:

o Extensive experience in either a transfer pricing or corporate tax environment
o Successful track record of leading Transfer Pricing projects through both internal and external activities
o CTA, CA, ACA, ACCA, Masters in Economics or equivalently qualified
o Positive attitude that transfers across the team
