Personal Tax Trainee, West London

Your new company

Your new role
You will be tasked with assisting with the preparation and submission of tax returns and computations of the firm's clients, as well as assisting said clients with the compliance work, which will require strict time management and deadline-meeting skills. Furthermore, you will help deal with HMRC queries and prepare P11Ds. In addition to this, you will, as time progresses, be introduced into the advisory side of the role. Your increasing knowledge will be used to provide advice to your clients over tax planning and other ad hoc issues.

What you'll need to succeed
You will possess ideally strong A-Levels, but a minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant qualification (Economics, Mathematics, Finance etc) is essential. Throughout your academic history will be a clear strand of numerical acumen, and you will be adept at taking ownership of tasks and producing accurate and timely work in a self-disciplined manner. You will also have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, as well as a decent computer literacy that will enable you to learn new software quickly.
