They develop and implement strategies to manage import duty costs by utilising free trade agreements, customs regimes and international trade structuring. Their specialists provide assistance in the following areas:
* Process/Controls Review
* Management Support System ("MSS") data reviews
* Key process reviews
* Training courses - bespoke and standardised training programmes
* Assistance with implementing customs reliefs/regimes
* Compliance and advisory advice
* Audits and Investigations by HM Revenue & Customs ("HMRC")
Your new role
This role will provide Tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of clients. The primary responsibility will be to deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of clients. You will also provide assistance to Director/Principals/Partners in both client work and in the management of the group and on occasions the practice.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experience Customs Duty Assistant Manager or Manager and either accountancy or tax qualified. You will hold experience of advising companies on all aspects of customs duties and international trade, as well as excise duty. It will also be expected you are able to advise on optimising duty savings in the supply chain and regulatory compliance. It will be advantageous if you hold client work experience with projects based around complex, multi jurisdictional supply chains, as well as SME's.
