The firm
I am currently working exclusively with a Top 10 firm to assist with the search for an Employment Tax Manager based in any of their offices across Birmingham, St Albans, Nottingham, Leicester or Cambridge. This role is offering a competitive salary along with the opportunity to take on a diverse role with instant access to key stakeholders within the firm.
Background of the role
You will be reporting directly into the Partner and managing a diverse client portfolio consisting of FTSE 250, a handful of FTSE 100, smaller entrepreneurs, OMB's and Private Market clients. With the aid of the Corporate Tax team's client base, you would be going into these clients and cross selling then People Services division to expand your portfolio. Your aim will be to make a significant contribution towards the overall future development and success of the firm through business development initiatives and networking events.
As the client portfolio continues to grow, so will your team and the more junior members will look to you to assist with the training and development to become qualified. This is an opportunity to work autonomously whilst building a team around you.
The candidate
From speaking with the Partner about what this role entails, they are essentially looking for someone with a deep and thorough understanding of Employment Tax and the ability to be able to confidentially develop client relationships and manage their own portfolio autonomously with the aid of the surrounding regions when it is required.
Benefits
We have made numerous AD and Partner level hires within this firm and they have a very good company culture. As previously mentioned, this role is offering a competitive market salary along with a diverse role and ability to develop a team around you. You will also have immediate access to key stakeholders within the firm.
