Description
Joining as VAT Manager, working closely with the firms Directors as a key support, you will be primarily responsible for providing a VAT advisory service to a wide range of clients across the firm, managing a portfolio of clients and working on wide ranging projects across the firm. Alongside this you will manage the wider VAT team, reviewing and acting in a mentoring and support capacity. You will take a proactive approach, looking to build internal and client relationships providing VAT advice, with the autonomy to carve a key role in this growth focused firm. Clients include a wide range of successful and large corporate clients, OMBs SME's and charities with many operating internationally, with complex VAT advisory work arising from this client base. You will get the opportunity to explore VAT issues in a wide range of areas including land and property, education, health and technology. There will be opportunity for key involvement in the further growth of this service line and the associated progression for your career.
Profile
You will be any of - ACA/ACCA/ ATT/CTA qualified, with a background either, specialising in indirect tax and VAT, or with significant experience providing VAT compliance and advisory/planning services to mixed clients. Your background is likely to have been developed within any of, small/medium/large independent firm background, or Top 50/Mid or Top Tier firm environment around managerial levels. You will be looking to carve a key role, within a leading, large independent firm, where you can see a clear path to progress your career.
Job Offer
Circa £40,000 - £55,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable, plus benefits
