The firm’s Global Mobility services group, a team of mobility and human capital advisors partner with their clients to build and evolve smart global mobility strategies, along with policies and processes that address the complex challenges of managing an international workforce from assignees to business travellers.
The firm is currently seeking a Global Mobility / Expatriate Tax Senior Associate. The Global Mobility Tax Senior Associate works as part of a team who are responsible for the delivery of a full range of global mobility services for multiple clients in a wide variety of industries. Responsibilities include interacting closely with clients to provide day-to-day management of international assignment programs, providing businesses and individuals with tax and social security planning, payroll consulting, and compliance expertise for a global workforce; developing and managing staff; working closely with partners and staff on client management, practice development and business development activities. There will be the need to sign off on tax returns.
The firm seeks an ambitious global mobility / expatriate tax professional who is currently operating at the experienced associate or senior associate level perhaps with a leading Human Capital / GMS group in New York or perhaps further afield. The firm would be willing to help you relocate!
To be sufficiently qualified for this role you will be required to have a Bachelors degree in a relevant subject as well being CPA or Juris Doctor qualified.
You must have a minimum of three years of progressive tax consulting experience with at least two years focused on global mobility services. Experience with a Big 4 or mid-tier firm, law firm, or corporate global mobility department of a multinational company is essential. Experience working in employment tax, social security, and compensation and benefits services teams is desirable. Experience with inbound and outbound employee relocation consulting.
