A leading accountancy practice, based in Taunton has a requirement for a Private Client Partner to join this successful business. The position has arisen through a combination of positive growth and planning for future succession. You will drive the development of the firms private client tax advisory function and play a pivotal role in the wider development and direction of the firms Tax business.

A market leading firm of chartered accountants, with an excellent reputation and standing across Somerset and the wider UK, including international clients and links overseas. The firm acts for a very wide ranging client base and boasts a highly experienced and strong team of tax professionals, delivering wide ranging compliance and advisory services across personal tax. The firm acts for a very wide range of clients, delivering varied private client project work for directors, HNWIs, landed estates/rurally related clients, trusts, wills, investigations and other wide ranging projects . The role and client base can moulded to a larger degree, around the right candidates technical strengths and areas of interest. You will be looking to grow and develop the firms private client offering and department and take a lead role in this. Dependent on the level of the individual joining , there is scope to mould the position at partner level, or at salaried partner designate level, with a view to progressing to partner, on a clear and achievable timescale.
Description
You will join the firm in their Taunton offices at equity/profit share - Private Client Partner level, or salaried Partner/ Director or designate Partner/Associate Partner level, with a clear path to progress on offer, dependent on the backround and level of the right professional and where they will fit in the role. You will deliver personal tax and advisory services to a wide ranging client base of directors of owner-managed businesses across wide ranging sectors and turnovers, property clients, wealthy individuals, families and trusts, farming/ landed estates clients and others. You will take a client fronting role overseeing the provision of advisory services across a wide spectrum of personal tax issues, IHT, CGT etc. You will lead and influence your team and look to drive the development of the private client tax services in this leading firm. You will develop the relationships, contacts and networks to bolster their private client offering further.
Profile
You will be operating as a Private Client Partner, or Designate/Associate level, CTA qualified and personal tax, advisory focused, your background may be within any of Top Tier, Ten accountancy practice environment, Mid Tier/Top 50 or large, medium, small independent firm background and you will be seeking a challenging new career opportunity as a Private Client Tax Partner / Tax Partner Designate within a leading firm of accountants.
Job Offer
Circa £80,000 - £120,000 equivalent, dependent on the background and level of the right professional, plus benefits
