Our client is crucial to the importance of global travel, getting passengers from A - B and ensuring their experience on the ground is world-class. With a significant expansion project about to kick off the finance team are now looking to hire a Corporate Tax Manager to come onboard. The role will involve:
-Supporting the tax team in ensuring that the group identifies and manages any direct tax issues arising from expansion, including corporate tax and employment taxes.
-Supporting the tax team with the Group’s statutory accounting and reporting requirements, plus help with ad hoc corporate tax projects.
-Developing relationships within the business and work closely with the expansion workstreams to identify tax issues and take responsibility for managing the tax issues, any tax risk and ensuring compliance
-Identifying opportunities within the wider business, as well as expansion, to reduce tax liabilities in line with genuine commercial activity.
We’re looking for people who have:
-A tax qualification (ACA or CTA) or relevant HMRC background, with a proven track record in UK tax
-Strong organisational skills, with ability to plan, prioritise and work to deadlines with little support
-Previous project management experience advantageous
-Excellent communication skills both written and oral are essential
