Marks Sattin are currently working alongside a reputable accounts practice based in Leeds City Centre who are seeking a Personal Tax Senior.

Our client is a well established practice who are seeking a Personal Tax Senior who would be responsible for completing individual and partnership tax returns and managing the client engagement.

Responsibilities

* Complete tax returns from original records or prepared by clients and make recommendations regarding accuracy and tax saving opportunities.
* Implement client's tax compliance engagement from start to finish.
* Manage engagements budgets.
* Proactively interact with key client management to gather information, resolve tax related problems and make recommendations for business and process improvement.
* Gain understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives.
* Supervise, train, and mentor staff and interns on tax projects where required.
* Assist partners on proposals and business development calls.
* Perform other job-related duties as necessary.

Requirements & Qualifications

* Motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments to deadlines.
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience, preferably in income tax compliance role.
* Possible ATT or CTA qualifications.
* Strong experience in portfolio and tax management.
* Broad exposure to income tax compliance and knowledge of tax regulations.
* Possess an understanding of income tax issues.
* Excellent project management, analytical, oral and written communication skills.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including spreadsheets (i.e.Excel).
