Chester based firm looking to recruit experienced Corporate Tax Senior- £22,000-£28,000

One of the region's leading independent accountancy firms, offering astute and practical advice to businesses throughout Chester, the Wirral, Shropshire and North Wales. This firm are now looking to appoint a new Tax senior into their established team of 3 in Chester.

Your new role
Your new role as a Tax Senior will involve managing a portfolio of both personal and corporate tax clients with a personal tax bias. You will be responsible for both compliance and ad-hoc advisory/tax planning work and support the Tax Director on more complex projects. You will establish and maintain close a client relationship and be able to spot new business opportunities and cross-sell between departments.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this role, you will have previous experience of managing your own mixed tax portfolio from within a reputable practice. You will have experience of handling both compliance and advisory work and will have strong communication skills with proactive approach to work.

What you'll get in return
In return for your efforts you will receive a competitive salary of between £22,000-£28,000 (Dependent on experience) and 20 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday. You will also receive an excellent opportunity with a reputable firm in the region offering an excellent progressive opportunity.
