Due to several business wins and successful growth plans, Pure have been instructed by one of the Big 4 to recruit an Employment Tax Manager based in their Reading office. The team work on a variety of big ticket and mid-market clients including many household names. This firm are a big supporter of flexible working and offer a highly competitive salary.
Background of the role:
The role consists of managing work in relation to a range of employment solutions and advisory projects, varying from larger strategic projects through to risk and opportunity reviews. You will also be managing employer compliance activities relating to areas such as employment status decisions, PAYE health checks, SAO certification, HMRC's "Know Your Customer" reviews, voluntary disclosures, PAYE Settlement Agreements and running projects relating to payroll advisory such as National Minimum Wage reviews.
Another aspect of the role will be to proactively deal with engagement management aspects of project delivery including work in progress, billing and risk procedures with consideration for the financial and commercial implications.
This firm are looking for people who have a strong background working within Employment Tax and will look at individuals who are either at Manager level or an experienced Assistant Manager who feels they are ready to take on a Manager role. Ideally the firm would be looking for someone with is either CTA, ACA, CPA or CA qualified, but it is not essential.
