Our client is a prestigious Global 200 company for which we are looking to appoint a US International Tax Planning Director. The position is based in Switzerland and is responsible for US and international tax planning issues. The position will report to the Global Head of Tax and will interact with other tax department staff as well as non-tax business leaders on US and international tax issues such as planning, M&A, cross border transactions and transfer pricing. This role will also deal with any US IRS audit matters that relate to tax planning and transfer pricing issues.
Fully up-to-date experience of US tax reform is a key requirement. Ideally you will have experience of US Tax Reform affecting manufacturing companies. We are open to applicants with either CPA or tax legal background. We are open to candidates coming from industry or making a first move from a Big 4 firm or law firm. A crucial requirement for the role is the capability to communicate clearly and in a concise manner on complex tax matters to non-tax personnel.
