A leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants & Business Advisers with offices in Preston and Blackpool easily accessible from the M55. Due to growth, this firm are looking for a Personal Tax Senior to join their Fulwood office.

Your new role
As a Personal Tax Senior you will manage your own varied portfolio of clients as part of a tax team to complete self-assessment tax returns and answer day-to-day queries. There is also the opportunity to carry out further work in the specialist areas of trust tax, business tax or VAT, but with the majority of the time being spent on personal taxation. For experienced candidates, there is also the opportunity to have an involvement in tax planning and advisory work.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this role you will have experience of managing your own varied portfolio of personal tax clients and the completion of self-assessment tax returns. Ideally, you will also have experience of offering tax advice and/or planning. You will be an organised, 'team player' and be confident with a considerable amount of client contact. Candidates with relevant tax qualifications will be looked upon favourably.

What you'll get in return
In return for your efforts you will receive a salary of between £28,000-£35,000 (Dependent on experience), 20 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday, part time/ flexi contract and the opportunity to work with a reputable firm on varied and interesting tax work.
