Your new company
A progressive independent Chartered Accountancy Firm with several decades experience of offering a variety of services including Accounts, Audit, Taxation and Advisory has been experiencing further business growth, which has resulted in the requirement for a new Corporate Tax Manager within their Glasgow office. Your new role
Working closely with the Tax Partner, the purpose of the successful individual is to maintain a portfolio of Corporate Tax Clients, ensuring deadlines for reporting and compliance are met, and the smooth progression of each specific job. You will be responsible, and a key point of contact, for both local and international clients, as well as a small team of Tax Seniors. Further to this, you will develop specific tax technical skills in areas such as Capital Allowances, R&D tax credits, and dealing with HMRC and international Tax services. You will be driven to assist and commit to long-term growth plans and monitor correspondence and advice drafted by more junior members of the team; maximising advisory opportunities from your portfolio of clients.

You will be a Tax Manager or Assistant Manager with particular knowledge of Corporation Tax, and a proven track record in a practice firm or multinational industry organisation. You will be ACCA, ICAS, ICAEW or CTA qualified, with the wish to develop your expertise and career. You will have excellent communication and client engagement skills.
What you'll get in return
The job will pay a competitive salary, and allow the right candidate the opportunity to build upon their experience, working closely with the Partner. Genuine progression to Senior Manager and beyond is on offer and the firm boasts flexible working arrangements, an approachable working environment, and a "promote from within" mentality.
