A top 4 Firm in Birmingham require an experienced interim Corporate Tax Compliance specialist for their Corporate Tax Team. This Firm work with large corporate businesses across various industries to prepare accounting and tax returns to meet their statutory obligations.
Your new role
As the Interim Corporate Tax specialist you will be working alongside other compliance and relationships managers to provide a high quality service to the Firm's clients.
Aspects of the role will include:-
* Up-front scoping and engagement planning with clients
* Organisation of data collection approach
* Liaise with Data Management team and deal with client queries in relation to data requests during Data Exchange by exception /as escalated.
* Review and ultimate submission of corporation tax returns
* Review and submission of tax account schedules
* Opportunity spotting for related PwC services and helping clients to manage their tax risk.
* Budget management/monitoring and assist in the development of other staff as required.
What you'll need to succeed
This Firm is looking for an experienced Corporate Tax specialist to cover an interim period working with their varied client base. The Interim Tax specialist will ideally be ACA or CTA qualified, experienced in all areas of corporate tax - UK GAAP and IFRS - who is able to work on own initiative within a large and busy team.
