Your new role
As the successful Employment Tax professional, you will provide relevant advice and consultancy work to a portfolio of clients, ensuring it complies with the firms standards and adheres to agreed timelines and budgets. You will review the work of more junior members and liaise with other departments to ensure a foundation of knowledge is established. For example, you will provide mentoring and on-the-job training to other members of the wider tax team, and coach the audit and business advisory teams when necessary. Further to this, you will support tender preparations, identify business issues for clients, recommending additional services where required, and continually develop positive client relationships. In order to do so, you will assist the Senior Management will client meetings and become involved in activities contributing to the development of the team, for example strategic planning and recruitment.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be client-focused with a proven track record within Employment Tax in a Chartered Accountancy environment. Excellent communication, organisation and team work skills are essential. With the opportunity to step up in the absence of the Director, you will be able to utilise initiative and take on responsibility of line management duties.
