Clients are very wide ranging across charity and not for profit clients, commercial enterprises across varied industry sectors, wide ranging in turnover size and complexity, along with high net worth individuals and international VAT work.

Description

Joining the Bristol team at VAT Senior, you will carve a key position within this growing team working directly with the VAT partners and senior VAT advisory teams. The work will be varied across both advisory and compliance with a decent involvement in client facing work, developing relationships and you will have the opportunity to further develop your knowledge and experience of VAT becoming a valued and highly sought after professional and trusted advisor in this growing area . You will therefore have chance to develop stronger interpersonal skills along with furthering your technical skill set, writing report and presenting complex issues and associated solutions to your clients. With the appraisal structures and environment here, you will also benefit from a clear progression path on offer.

Profile

You will be ideally CTA qualified or working towards the qualification. You may be recently qualified at VAT Senior level, or with a year or two, post qualified experience and ideally come with a background specialising in VAT compliance and some advisory project work delivery. Or, you may have a more mixed career background in tax, with an interest in specialising down the Indirect tax route. Your background may have been gained in any accountancy practice firm background from Top Tier firm through to Mid Tier/Top 50 and independent firm environment. Or you will have a career within industry, with exposure to varied VAT issues, or have a background in HMRC specialising in VAT and be looking to transfer these skills into the accounting profession.

Job Offer

£35,000 - £40,000 dependent on background, experience and level, plus benefits
