A world leading multinational is seeking a Transfer Pricing Manager to join its UK tax team in London. The role offers opportunities to take initiative and to deliver projects and run compliance processes with minimal oversight. The work will be extremely diverse and complex, with responsibilities in developing a close working relationship with local tax compliance teams in firms in the Central and Eastern Europe region, Netherlands, Singapore, the UK and the US.
The work will include working with specialists and assisting with tax audits from local tax authorities. As a Manager, you will also lead junior members of the team, including contributing to their technical and personal development to address their career development goals.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for:

• Ad Hoc Structuring Projects
• Perform a review of territories’ annual tax risk management assessments
• Prepare reports and feedback, including suggesting remedial actions drawing on best practices
• Liaise with other teams to provide advice when needed
• Undertaking transfer pricing planning and pricing implementation
• Being actively involved in business development activities
• Training, coaching, and supervising staff

Person Requirements:

• Experience working in a transfer pricing team or international tax team
• Experience of working with UK, US or a major European country tax legislation
• Someone with excellent technical and interpersonal skills
• Ability to plan quarterly and annual tasks
• Good communication and relationship-building skills both with external clients and other internal teams
• Technical expertise to devise innovative and practical solutions to client problems and to share knowledge with the rest of the team members
• The ability to establish good working relationships and a desire to develop your own network of subject matter experts
• A tax or accounting qualification - desirable
