UK Tax Manager - Engineering, London

An engineering business based in London is sourcing for an ACA/CTA Qualified UK Tax Manager to join their close-knit tax team based in London. In this role you will work across a variety of taxes on compliance oversight, tax reporting and ad-hoc advisory projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Work with the Head of Tax and Tax teams to ensure the Group's overall global tax strategy and approach is confirmed
* Managing the outsourced corporate tax compliance function
* Leading the UK Group tax accounting and reporting requirements
* Providing technical tax support on projects including R&D, M&A transactions and transfer pricing
* Provide VAT advice and support on the structuring of business transactions from a domestic and international perspective.
* Supporting business units to achieve SAO compliance and annual reporting requirements
* Oversee the tax compliance requirements and structuring of operations overseas.

The ideal candidate will have a mixed compliance, reporting and advisory background - potentially coming from the Big 4/mid-tier firms, looking to make their first move in-house.
