2-2.5 day a week role in Personal Tax- Manchester city centre

A small family run accountancy practice of 6 members of staff in Manchester city centre looking to recruit an experienced Part time Tax Manager to replace a long standing member of staff.

Your new role
As a Part Time Tax Manager within this firm, you will operate in a stand alone role, responsible for a personal tax portfolio of circa 250 clients, ranging from HNWI's, partners and directors, sole traders and some trusts. This role will predominantly be compliance focused, in addition to handling ad hoc enquiries and tax planning work. The level of tax planning and advisory work will depend on the ability to spot value added opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this role you will have experience of managing a varied personal tax portfolio from within practice and be technically strong in providing tax compliance. You will have strong communication skills to build long standing relationships with your clients and have a proactive approach to your work.

What you'll get in return
In return for this part time Tax role you will receive a full-time salary of between £30,000-£40,000 full time equivalent and a part time contract of 2-2.5 days. In addition, you will receive 20 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday, increasing with length of service.
