In house Employment Tax Manager- Part Time- FTSE Business

Pure Search has just been briefed on a newly established Employment Tax Manager role based in central London. You will be part of a growing FTSE business, focusing on Employment Tax advisory projects and serve as the global subject matter expert across the group. This is a part time role and offers the opportunity to manage a wide remit and enjoy flexible working and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

* Accountability for advising, monitoring and enforcing a suitable process for short term visitors across the territories to report accurately and apply suitable tax provisions
* Identify employees who are working between countries across the Group and ensure the suitable Tax provision
* Advise on national insurance treatment for expatriate employees and support local payroll teams to calculate accurately, managing external advice where appropriate.
* Submission of the s690 application for employees working in the UK from other countries
* Review data for PSA and P11Ds to ensure correct allocation and submit annual PSA's to HMRC
* Advise and assist in the implementation of employment tax aspects of the Group's SIP and long-term incentive plans
* Submission of accurate information for the Company's Share Incentive Plan and Performance Share Plan
* Be the main point of contact for any external advisors on employment tax and where appropriate review and agree the Supplier Agreements
* Provide tax guidance on all aspects of employee expenses to ensure compliance with HMRC regulations
* Be the internal point of contact for any employment tax query for both the Payroll / HR teams and Tax Teams in the UK and Globally.

Requirements

* ACA (or equivalent) or CTA qualified
* Solid Employment Tax technical skillset
* Understanding of Expatriate Tax
* Experience in managing external tax specialists
