UK & International Tax Specialist - In house role, Aberdeen

Our client is a big name in its industry sector.

Reporting into the Tax Manager Europe, the role is a mix of tax compliance, accounting & advising the businesses (across all the taxes) This includes dealing with tax provisioning under US GAAP, ensuring tax compliance process, helping with the preparation of TP documentation, performing permanent establishment reviews & providing advice on the structuring of new business. The role has a strong UK focus, but you will have lots of opportunities to assist the Tax Manager Europe on international projects.

Culturally, it is a fast-paced and challenging environment, so you need to be a resilient, confident & motivated person who can stand up for the Tax department and build strong relationships across the organisation.

You will either be a UK trained tax professional with some international tax or someone based in Continental Europe with international tax experience (and ideally some knowledge of UK tax). Solid tax accounting skills are required (US GAAP experience would be advantage).

You will probably have between 3 & 5 years’ tax experience.
