An opportunity has arisen for you to specialise your tax expertise…in insurance! This Corporate Tax Manager job will allow you to drive your career forward in the booming financial services industry of insurance.
This opportunity has been set up by a global, professional services organisation that values its diverse group of employees. It strives to maintain a friendly and supportive corporate culture that it has already established. You will be joining the wider Financial Services team of around 25 tax professionals who are spread across three sites - London, Bristol and Edinburgh. The team works as a whole and location does not dictate client allocation.
As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will provide corporate tax advice and M&A services to major insurance UK-based insurers, international insurance groups, life insurers, brokers, pension products and other specialist providers. This position deals with the enormous change affecting the insurance sector which has provided the firm, and in turn you, with significant opportunities.
Previous experience in insurance will be advantageous, however, it is not an essential requirement. Rather, it is more important for you to be CTA, ACA, ACCA or ATT qualified, or the equivalent, with past corporate tax experience. You should also be able to communicate effectively, lead more junior members of the team, and the ability to adapt your skills where necessary.
Not only will you be given the opportunity for technical fulfilment and to grow your career, but you will also be offered a competitive salary package and benefits. Benefits include agile working (possibly working from home), access to training programs, preferential banking services, and secondment prospects. You also have the option to either be based in London, Bristol or Edinburgh, as this is a national role.
