Head of Tax Reporting, MNC, near Zurich

A MNC based near Zurich, Switzerland are looking to hire a Head of Tax Reporting to join a fast evolving tax function. Working alongside an industry respected Head of Tax, this is an exciting opportunity for an analytic and innovative thinker to influence and voice the strategic direction of the business to unit leaders. You will also provide leadership, advice and support in updating and maintaining tax technology capabilities and controls.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a career-minded individual with a background in tax reporting, ideally within either a multinational or Big 4 firm looking to add strings to their bow. You will be sharpening your skills at the cutting edge of tax technology and drive real tangible change across a large international business.

You will direct a team of tax professionals responsible for:

* External reporting for tax and associated tax disclosures.
* Overseeing the effective reporting of global ETR.
* Process and controls improvement to the tax accounting process.
* Establish and coordinate procedures relating to annual and quarterly view of tax risk and exposures.
* Monitor and review tax planning, compliance and audit activities to ensure compliance with external reporting requirements.
* Monitor, supervise and maintain the ETR model.
* Develop and monitor IT strategies for tax specific processes and direct implementation of new tax specific systems and processes.

We're looking for leaders with:

Significant experience in tax reporting within an MNC or Big 4 firm

* Strong IFRS experience
* Analytical and strategic thinker
* Ability to communicate with EXCO members
* English language skills and German or French
