Indirect Tax Director- In House - London (reporting to Global CFO)

Our Multinational client and leader in technology is looking to hire a new member in their team. The VAT Director

This role will report directly to the Global CFO

Indirect Tax Lead within the Tax Risk Control Department & manage Global Tax risk.

Provide commercially focused Global Indirect Tax risk assessment analysis to ensure that the business is aware of the indirect tax implications and risk on its operations, evaluating business and corporate strategy for VAT efficiency, as well as participating in decision making and deployment of strategies

Managing external advisers, consultants, taxation authorities and joint venture partners relating to tax planning, tax audit support and accounting processes assessing the implications on the business activities

Experience :

14+ year's specialist Indirect Tax work experience within Big 4 or industry with strong knowledge of Global Indirect Taxes

Good organisational skills and project management skills and ability to prioritise personal workload and that of the Indirect Tax Risk Management Team.

Self starter with strong project management skills and is capable to step into VAT technical projects including cross border

Qualifications

* CTA/ACCA and/or legal qualifications is preferred
