Tax Operations Manager

A great opportunity to lead the UK tax operations team for a multinational financial services company. Experience managing a team, along with knowledge of FATCA, CRS and WHT is paramount.

Key responsibilities
Leading a team and supporting the broader department and shared service function
Continuous review of costs to ensure option people resource
Ensuring quality of service for the tax operations team
Providing technical support to employees to ensure accuracy and timeliness of tasks
Ensuring that operational risk events are kept to a minimum
Maintenance of internal and external audit, regulatory, risk rating reviews
Implementing strategies to continually improve process
Ensure that quality staff are selected for hire
Support initiatives that effect the Entitlements & Tax group

Skills/experience
University degree
Experience supervising and working within a tax team
Understanding of withholding tax principals
Good judgment evaluating risk
Excellent experience in problem solving and decision making
Experience dealing with customer service issues
Experience in an operations environment
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Ideally experience working in fund accounting and project work
