Your new role
You will be responsible for preparing tax returns, obtaining missing information from clients and third parties, reviewing tax returns and preparing basic capital gains computations. Furthermore, your role will entail drafting replies to client correspondents, electronically filing tax returns, liaising with HMRC and will include various bits of Ah Hoc work.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be studying towards an AAT and hold a relevant degree, along with possessing great interpersonal skills and a strong self discipline with regards to time-keeping and project management. Competency with MS Office and some experience with Sage, Quickbooks or similar accounting software an advantage.
