Do you want to work in-house and for an instantly recognisable company? Then you need to look no further than this exciting opportunity!
This global organisation works with a passion and strives to deliver excellence with every deal. It understands that to maintain this quality, it has to ensure it takes care of its diverse group of employees. It places a huge emphasis on its values, and looks to live them in order to inspire confidence and empower its employees to reach their full potential.
The Watford office boasts a friendly and welcoming environment and is located close to the train station. As an Assistant Tax Manager, you will work within the Partnership Tax Team and support the Senior Manager in dealing with the overseas tax risks and the necessary international corporate filings of the firm's staff. The regions you will mostly work with are the US, Switzerland and Indian territories. Due to the nature of your role, you will have a steady flow of work instead of peaks and troughs. The Watford Partnership Tax Team is also preparing itself for the upcoming Brexit changes and issues that will arise from it, so this will become a key element of your role in the future. You will also have the responsibility of coaching junior members of the team.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally be CTA/ACA qualified, or equivalent, with prior corporate tax experience. This position predominately deals with international affairs but you do not need previous experience in expatriate tax as sufficient support and training will be provided. As an individual, you should be able to communicate effectively, be a team player, and be highly numerate for the necessary tax computations.
Accepting this role, you will receive a competitive salary with additional benefits. You will also have access to the firm's agile working policy which grants its employees flexible working hours suited to their individual needs. If you are currently working to further your qualifications, the organisation will offer support. This is an opportune moment to become part of a leading international company and work in the wake of Brexit issues, all of which will further your career expertise.
