International Tax Adviser

Working with and supporting the Head of International Tax & International Tax Manager in handling International Tax and Partnership taxation matters.

* Preparation of information and schedules required to support corporate and individual partner tax filings in Germany, France, Belgium, Japan, South Africa and the US
* Providing support and information as required to the firm's advisers in India
* Projects work on the reconciliation of partner tax reserves
* Partnership UK Tax Return
* Transfer Pricing
* Preparation and filing of non-resident US tax returns and assisting in the preparation of ITIN applications for partners
* Assisting the Partner Finance team in the reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts for partners
* Assisting with client withholding tax requests as necessary.
* Maintenance and administration of Encompass (tax compliance deadline tracking software)
* Monitoring and ensuring compliance with Country by Country Reporting notification obligations in every relevant jurisdiction
* Day to day supervision of International Tax Assistant
* Ensuring that any other tax compliance work required is produced to the highest of standards.

Qualifications, skills, experience
* Part qualified (ACCA/CIMA/AAT/CTA/ATT) or with the desire to study, but will consider those with more or less experience
* Comprehension of basic accounting (i.e. strong knowledge of double-entry booking)
* Professional partnership experience is desirable
* Personal or corporate tax experience would be an advantage
* Advanced excel skills
