A major tax firm is seeking a talented VAT Manager to join their Indirect tax team to focus on their market leading Real Estate sector clients. You will sit within a broader group which services a diverse portfolio of FTSE 200 companies, privately owned businesses, public sector organisations and not-for-profit organisations. You will gain exposure to many projects outside of real estate to develop your Indirect Tax knowledge and skills. The right candidate will have a mixture of experience, within any sectors, but with have a keen interest in the Real Estate sector.
Projects range from one-off initiatives providing bespoke solutions to specific problems, working collaboratively with other specialisms to deliver joined-up solutions to the client, through to advising UK clients on their international VAT obligations. One thing is guaranteed: the indirect tax practice and the Real Estate team, in particular, offers a wide variety of opportunities.
This team has ambitious leadership that are delivering on their strategic plan to gain market share and will be recruiting multiple people at all levels in the next 12+ months. Therefore you will have the opportunity of fast career progression from manager to Partner.
• ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent)
• An exposure to advising clients from a range of sectors and industries with VAT issues.
• A motivated, proactive individual that can build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Someone who will respond well to being encouraged to shape and actively manage their career development through involvement in a broad variety of work.
