Our Client is leading provider of information and business intelligence for students, professionals and institutions in medicine, nursing, allied health and pharmacy and structured in three business units to uniquely serve the information needs of health professionals.
They now require an International Tax Manager to join their busy London finance department.
About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused international tax specialist to join a market leading multinational business. Good communication skills are vital as is the ability to demonstrate evaluation, consideration and deliver presentations. This is not a back office tax compliance role!
Key responsibilities include:
Monitor international Tax developments (e.g. changes in legislation, regulations and in business operations) and communicate the necessary recommendations associated with such developments. Work closely with business operations, finance, legal, marketing and accounting departments to ensure solid understanding of existing products and/or new products or regional marketing efforts; including a solid understanding of revenue streams by product by business unit.
Work closely with the International Regional Controllers to evaluate the likely impact on tax developments on the entire organisation.
Maintain a constant understanding of domestic and international legal entity structure.
Take responsibility for the preparation and execution of inter-company transfer pricing agreements for the division.
Who we are looking for:
You will be a qualified tax professional with previous in house experience working in a multinational environment. You will either have tangible hands on experience of direct and indirect taxes or be willing to develop the necessary skills. Previous experience with international tax across a range of jurisdictions is essential.
